I’ve been working in digital design since 1997 when I was lucky to land a junior web design job at a small one man media company in Leamington Spa. I learnt to use Photoshop and write my own HTML to create websites….I was hooked.
Since then I’ve gained a lot of experience with different design agencies large and small and also as a freelancer producing a wide variety of work including, websites, e-learning, digital TV, mobile and print.
I recently worked as a senior web designer for Liquid Light in Brighton where I took pride in creating clean, elegant, user centered design solutions with a big focus on the user experience. Being a small agency, my role was diverse and leading projects from concept to launch has developed my skills in: Client discovery/strategy, UX deliverables inc. site maps & wireframes, visual and interface design, HTML5 amd CSS3.
I love working as part of a team. Working closely with developers and designers means we’re always sharing thoughts and ideas which ultimately leads to a better result.
For the past few years I’ve been doing some freelance work for small businesses around Brighton. Often working on limited budgets with big expectations I like the challenge of delivering a high quality result within the limitations.
Keeping up with the rapidly changing technologies and techniques in web design has become part of my daily routine and I love getting the chance to push these into the projects I work on.
